Background

I am a father of five kids ranging from senior in high school to 2 years. My wife Donna and I have been married for 18 years and live in Belle Plaine. I am the founder of several companies focused on international trade including one in which I am still an active owner. Prior to my experience as an entrepreneur, I was a Director at the Target Corporation and worked for the U.S. Customs Service. I hold an MBA in International Business from the University of Dallas and a BS in Criminal Justice. My volunteer experience includes being an active member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as a Major in the Minnesota Civil Air Patrol, and in various capacities in our schools. As a candidate for the MN House of Representatives I am endorsed by the MN Chamber of Commerce and have achieved 'Guardian of Small Business' status with the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).
